If you are looking to plan a school disco with the wow factor we have some ideas below to help you create a disco that will get everyone up and dancing
Picking a theme
The first step is to pick a theme for the disco below are some ideas:
A glow/blacklight party is a great theme that can be paired with affordable props to really create a fun party that will get everyone involved. Generally school discos are in the school hall so a fairly large area needs to be covered and our UV Panels are perfect for this, we generally suggest 4-6 of these on stands. Grab some glow sticks and fluro based decorations like balloons and streamers and you have an instant party!
A colour theme is another great idea and very easy to theme. Perhaps pick your school colours to make it easy. We have battery operated up lights that you can place around the room set to a particular colour and simply match that with some basic decorations and a dance floor light like a moonflower and a crystal ball light for the walls and ceiling.
If you want something a little more funky then perhaps a retro or 80’s party
Use our glow cubes to create a tetris theme and that also ties in with the fluro 80’s. Add a few black lights and some fluro decorations and you have a great 80’s theme.
